My First LayOut Challenge........

I entered my first layout challenge at VirtualConvention and this is the page I created!
The pictures are of me and my husband at the Grand Canyon. That place is majestic!
It was a whole lot of fun. I am probably going to create 3 more page layouts to go along with this one for our Grand Canyon/Vegas vacation we went on in October 2007 since I have so many really nice pictures. My sister, Brenda, and my brother-in-law, Andy, went with us. We had so, so, SO much fun.....I always enjoy being with my sister; we are very much alike.
Please let me know what you think of my layout...... ;-)

All products used are CTMH items.
Paper ..... Caprice level 2
Ink Pads & Markers ..... Crystal Blue and Chocolate
Liquid Glass (on the chipboard dimensional elements)
Dimensional Elements Fresh Shapes
Ribbon Rounds ..... Basic Collection (chocolate) and Winter Cozy (crystal blue)
Stamp Sets ..... Hook, Line and Sinker & Friendship Word Puzzle
Brown Bigger Brads
Gold Picture Hanger (for ribbon)

Thanks for dropping in at my den ...... now ...... Get out your paper, scissors, & stamping supplies and lets get some ink on those fingers!! ......Barb in SC

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for the help with the wedding card suggestion. I actually visited Kathi Carlson's blog and just started working backwards, finding something that might inspire me. She has lots and lots of stuff plus she is UBER creative. I just finished my card, which I'll post later. It's OK, not great but it'll do. I guess I just wasn't feeling it, kwim?

About the blogging sistahs: it's groups of gals who have blogs from around the world that share the hobby of stamping. We are put into groups of 20 and we support each other with our craft. You are very, very welcome to join this low pressure, friendly group. If you hurry, you can join the group I'm in, #21. http://www.sisterhoodofthebloggingstampers.blogspot.com/

It's not all CTMH because it's gals from around the world but you get great ideas you can use with CTMH stuff and you can see what some trends are in the industry so you are prepared if a customer ever asks or if CTMH carries something like it.

Hope you join!

Again, thanks for your help. Check out what I ended up with later, when it's posted.

You are in!!!! You are one of the Sistah's of SBS21!!! AND I'm one of the first sistahs to welcome you. Now, just go through the posted list and the comments (because the gals who run the blog are on vacation and haven't updated the list lately, we're also going by the blogs posted in the comments) or use the list I created on my blog sidebar. Create your own list, create a post doing another general introduction and title it for the blogging sisters and finally, visit all the gals in our group #21. It won't be long before the monitors get up to speed, create our list and start another. We are up to 17 members before we close. I'm soooo glad you are in my group!!!!

Hi Barbara,
Thanks for your visit. Love the layout. I'm a novice at scrapbooking - just trying to finish my 'Africa' book - nearly there. Perhaps I should post a few pages. 'Speak soon'

Hi Barbara
I enjoyed your work very much. I love puddling in ink too.
I picked up new glasses today and can see properly for the first time in 2008. (Eye surgery in January and February - then waiting - waiting for healing -and today it has all been worth it!).
I am from Western Australia and am part of SBS21. I look forward to sharing with you.
Best wishes Pat
