Stamping completed, colored the stamped images and applied glitter. Now I'm ready to score & fold the card, distress the designer accent paper, cut out the Christmas images, tie the bows and glue it all together to make 20 Christmas cards for a special customer.

Accordian Album for My Birthday Memories

Here's a 6 x 6 album I created for my birthday celebration.
It's always a special memory whenever family/friends gather together for fun....and placing pictures into a memory/scrapbook album of any size (large or small) we can always "travel" back to that moment for some smiles and keeping sweet memories alive forever.

"All-Sorts" Mini Album ~ Jingle Paper Pak & October '09 Stamp of the Month

Here's a fun Christmas mini album that would be a wonderful, personalized gift for someone or to keep for yourself.


One of the pages has a pocket that holds 4 tags made to display a picture and a small area for some descriptive journaling.

This is Close To My Heart's acrylic Stamp Of The Month. It has 11 images to stamp!! It's called "Holiday Warmth" #D1376.

Pictured here are the Level 1(X7115A), Level 2(X7115B), & My Stickease(X7115C) matching stickers.

The following pictures show the different pages, techniques, and embellishments.

The festive, non-traditional colors combined with the fun patterns on the paper all co-ordinate together along with the acrylic stamp images.

Notice the white core of the paper and the texture that the drops of liquid glass on the paper pattern. The scissor distressing of the white-core card stock gives this album depth and texture.

Close to My Heart BLOG HOP ~~ SEPT '09 Stamp of the Month

I am thrilled to be part of the CTMH (Close To My Heart) SOTM(stamp of the month) blog hop My grandson's birthday 12x12 scrapbook page lay out using "Tinkerin' Level 2" paper packet feature August's stamp of the month.
I used the "Treasures" (D1375) September SOTM along with Close To My Heart's "Summer Carnival Sassy Strands".. I love using Sassy Strands..they're available in lots of different colors & textures.

I did the ROLLING TECHNIQUE to get 2 of the ink colors on this sentiment.

To incorporate all 3 ink colors, I did RANDOM STAMPING of one of the stamp sets images along with FIRST, SECOND, & THIRD GENERATION STAMPING on the base pages.

I used the "It's Your Day" (D1352) August SOTM along with Close To My Heart's "Summer Carnival Sassy Strands".. I love using Sassy Strands..they're available in lots of different colors & textures.




The picture above shows the CTMH supplies I used in my lay out. The stamp set actually has 26 clear stamps!! Many, many different combinations using this versatile stamp set.

CTMH Day Dream 9x9 Accordian Album Baby Shower Gift.....

I used "Expecting" stamp set along with the ink pads (Sweet Leaf, Hollyhock, Black) pictured to make this cute Accordian Album.

There's a lot of embellishing and stamping displayed in this album.

Close To My Heart's liquid glass sprinkled with prisma glitter really shows off this adorable paper.

Notice the "ghost" stamping. I used the 2nd generation stamping technique with Hollyhock & Sweet Leaf and then stamped the same words on top of the ghost stamping. I really like the look of this technique.

There are plenty of Close To My Heart's "Journaling Spots" throughout the album to journal any special moments.

Vigorous edge distressing was used to give the pages dimension as well as to show off CTMH's white core paper.

This is the back cover of the 9x9 accordian album with a personalized stamp.

BTW......Did you notice the stove?......I do serve "scrapbooking" for dinner as a regular diet! LOL

The 3 ink pad colors used are:

This was a gift I made for a very good friend's birthday. She's my house/dog sitter when I'm out of town.
I got the basic idea for this project from another Close To My Heart consultant.....can't remember her name but I plan on searching until I can find it so I can post her name here with a huge THANK YOU.
I am so appreciative of her inspiration for this special gift.

~~> I just found out who it was that made the notecard holder set that I modeled this one after. The CTMH consultant's name is Suzi Gies-Lay. Thanks Suzi!!! I made a few changes but your creation is what laid the groundwork for me. Hugs to YOU!!!

I used the "Aspiration" stamp set to do second generation stamping at the lower left side on the custom made envelope. The "Say It In Style" stamp set is a MUST for any card maker. Any greeting needed for a card is on that set....I've almost wore it out!!! LOL "Say It In Style" is the set I used to put the greeting/saying on the lower right corner of each card.

UNFORGETTABLE family page layout

As you can see, I still need to add my journaling on the CTMH Love Always Journaling Spots. The packet of Journaling Spots contains a variety of sizes and shapes and is SUPER economical. I love these handy little things...lol....I used the Level 2 Unforgettable paper pack along with the Unforgettable My Stickease. This is one of my all time favorite Close To My Heart paper patterns.
