Paper piecing isn't as easy as it sounded....lol Whew!! ......I have to tell all of you......this challenge took me longer to plan and complete than any challenge I've participated in....EVER!!
I don't know if I'm all that happy with what I made, but I sure learned a lot making this card....which means that this challenge was definitely worth my time. It's great to exercise the brain and get the creative juices flowing in a totally different direction.
Techniques:
- I used a "balled-up" baggie and second generation stamping on the card stock after I folded it to make a 4x5 card.
- Edge swipe distressing with both ink pads....Tulip first lightly & New England Ivy second heavily.
All products used are Close To My Heart items.
- Tulip & New England Ivy stamp pads
- Evensong Creative Basics paper
- Holiday Joy #D1224 acrylic stamp set
- Shining Star #D1320 acrylic stamp set
Can't wait to read your thoughts....so please critique my card. Thanks in advance for your comments. ;-)

OH, I'm tagging you too... should be up in a bit.
Great Christmas cards~ Love this stamp set you used~
I love your card. Paper piecing is so cool. I used to piece quilts....I think it might have been easier than with paper, though. I'm still learning.
It's absolutely stunning Barbara and that background is 'wicked' (teenage slang for brilliant in the UK, don't know about across the pond).

These are soooo darling! I haven't had time to visit our SB21 sites, as is usually the situation once I'm back in school. I love the way you used stars and the Evensong papers!!!! Wow! Maybe when I've recovered a little more from my surgery I'll have time to check on the challenges on the SB21 site. My Evensong Creative Basics should be here this coming week! I'm excites and will use your cards for inspiration, if that's OK with you!
Love the card and love the effect of baggy sponging!!
