Birthday Gift of Note Cards - Custom Made Hand Stamped Envelopes .........

using CTMH's "Unforgetable" level 2 paper pack, "Aspiration" & "Say It In Style" stamp sets, and Close To My Heart's Desert Sand polka dotted ribbon.....I absolutely LOVE this ribbon!!!

The 3 ink pad colors used are:

* Juniper

* Sorbet

* Cocoa

The cards are 5"x 5"

Size of envelopes are 5.5" x 5.5"

This was a gift I made for a very good friend's birthday. She's my house/dog sitter when I'm out of town.
I got the basic idea for this project from another Close To My Heart consultant.....can't remember her name but I plan on searching until I can find it so I can post her name here with a huge THANK YOU.
I am so appreciative of her inspiration for this special gift.

~~> I just found out who it was that made the notecard holder set that I modeled this one after. The CTMH consultant's name is Suzi Gies-Lay. Thanks Suzi!!! I made a few changes but your creation is what laid the groundwork for me. Hugs to YOU!!!

I used the "Aspiration" stamp set to do second generation stamping at the lower left side on the custom made envelope. The "Say It In Style" stamp set is a MUST for any card maker. Any greeting needed for a card is on that set....I've almost wore it out!!! LOL "Say It In Style" is the set I used to put the greeting/saying on the lower right corner of each card.

UNFORGETTABLE family page layout

As you can see, I still need to add my journaling on the CTMH Love Always Journaling Spots. The packet of Journaling Spots contains a variety of sizes and shapes and is SUPER economical. I love these handy little things...lol....I used the Level 2 Unforgettable paper pack along with the Unforgettable My Stickease. This is one of my all time favorite Close To My Heart paper patterns.

Colorful Boom-Di-Ada Scrapbook Page Lay Outs

The close up with the dog, shows the large tag that I made (using my Cricut Expression) tucked behind the photo mat.
I also used my Cricut to cut out the word "ENJOY"....CTMH's liquid glass was used on the Boom-Di-Ada My Stickease to give dimension.
Click HERE to see the entire Boom-Di-Ada Level 1 & Level 2 scrapbook paper packs.
I still need to add a circular picture to the round green mat or I might put journaling in that circle......not sure yet. I am still going to add journaling to this layout. I shortened the picture of me & my brother so I would have room to write. Journaling is important to me because I don't want to forget the small details that are part of the picture's moment.

A Bridlal Shower Gift ~~ CTMH Acrylic Album for a special young lady

The picture ABOVE shows the front of the album with a chipboard heart, chipboard tags dangling on ribbon and the "tearing technique"
The picture above shows the journaling tag that slips behind the picture mat.
The picture below shows the same journaling tag in place behind the picture mat.
Green & purple sassy strands were used as a tag pull.
This picture is to show the smaller 1/2 page that can be used for journaling and/or pictures. I used purple sassy strands at the left edge of the journaling/picture mat:
The "Key To My Heart" promotion is one of my favorite campaigns. I adore the stamps that came in that special bundle!! I just LOVE the look of the florish and all of the stamping images. The tags that are tucked into the right page gives the "soon to be bride" a place for some journaling or even a few more pictures:
This is the last 2 pages of the album. Sassy strands were used againg to dangle some small enhancing CTMH embellishments. I used a thin edge of prisma glitter as an outline around the heart attached to the ribbon:
This is the back of the album:

I haven't been blogging in WAY TO LONG.....and I apologize to all of my followers. It's been a super busy past few months; not anything in particular just that life got in the way of my blogging, stamping, scrapping & card making.
Needless to say......I sure have miss all of you blog-buddies!!!!

Anyway...........Here's an acrylic album that I created for a bridal shower gift. All supplies used are from Close To My Heart (CTMH). I used B&T paper from numerous different Level 2 paper packs since my focus was on using her wedding colors of purple and green.
Close To My Heart has such terrific supplies.....I absolutely LOVE the quality of all of the papers by CTMH. I use the "tearing technique" often because the white core of our paper gives any creation a "special touch." Click HERE to see all of the paper packs/scrapbook kits available from Close To My Heart.
~ The CTMH colors that I used are: Garden Green ~ Smoky Plum ~ White Daisy
~ White CTMH LOVE LETTERS rub-ons were also used throughout the acrylic album.
~ CTMH items used are: acrylic album, big pinks flowers, prisma glitter, English Ivy ribbon rounds(discountinued), sassy strands, Key To My Heart stamps, CTMH ink pads, & misc brads/embellishments.
~ Bonding Memories 2-way glue is the glue used to glue the papers to the acrylic album and for the prisma glitter on the edges of the hearts & to hold the glitter to the Big Pinks blossoms. I love, love, LOVE that glue!!!!

Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated....so let me know how you like my creation. Oh......and sorry the pictures are laid out in odd angles....I promise that I'll do better posting next time.
It's time to get some ink on my fingers.....I better get busy!!!!
Thanks for stopping in.....and please stop in again soon.
